Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya

AQuAS – Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (AQuAS) (gencat.cat) ) is a public entity of the Catalan Health Ministry with more than 25 years of history. Its mission is to generate scientific and relevant knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the quality, safety and sustainability of the healthcare system, with the main goal of supporting the decision-making process of the citizens, professionals, managers and policy makers. 

AQuAS has extensive experience in innovation adoption initiatives (Compra pública d’innovació. Agència de Qualitat i Avaluació Sanitàries de Catalunya (AQuAS) (gencat.cat)) as pre-commercial procurements, public procurements of innovation and early evaluation of the adoptability of innovations. AQuAS is currently co-leading jointly with UPV the iRaise Education Programme (iraise.eu; previously co-funded by EIT Health), the very first Education Programme on high value care innovation adoption that trains multidisciplinary teams from healthcare organisations.
