Breakfast with I3A experts

We would like to remind you that on 3, 10 and 17 November at 9 a.m. the I3A breakfasts with industry experts will be held.

The first one will be attended by Dr. Lluis Blanch.

  • Dr. Lluís Blanch is a consultant at the Critical Care Centre of the Hospital Parc Taulí in Sabadell (Barcelona).

    He is director of Research and Innovation at the Corporació Sanitària Parc Tauli, Coordinator of the ISCIII Platform for Dynamisation and Innovation of Industrial Capacities, Head of the CIBER Group on Respiratory Diseases, Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Director of the Institut d’Investigació i Innovació Parc Taulí – I3PT. He is also co-founder of Better Care S.L., a spin-off of the Corporació Sanitaria Parc Tauli.

Dr. Blanch’s research interests include, among others, translational research in acute lung and brain injury, mechanical ventilation, digital therapies and the application of artificial intelligence in the monitoring of respiratory and haemodynamic signals in critically ill patients.

He has received numerous grants from public and non-profit organisations and has over 235 publications indexed in Pub Med with an H-index of 44.

He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine and President of the Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine and Coronary Units, as well as President of the Societat Catalana de Medicina Intensiva i Crítica and member of the Spanish Society of Intensive Care Medicine.

Dr. Blanch is a member of the editorial board of several journals and a reviewer for the most prestigious journals in the fields of respiratory care and critical care. prestigious journals in the fields of respiratory and critical care.
